R. Lyons & Co. was set up in 2004 by Raymond Lyons a native of Longford. Raymond has over 30 years’ experience working in accounting mostly in practice but also for 3 years as a financial manager of a multinational financial services company.

What makes us different is that we start with a detailed analysis of how the financial side of your business works. We ask questions like:

  • What bookkeeping tasks are taking too long and how can we automate these?
  • How would you like your financial information presented and on what devices. Eg mobile phone, laptop etc

Once we establish what you need we design a bookkeeping system using Quickbooks online which can give you online up to date financial information about your business. We can recommend add-ons to this so that you can scan and import purchase invoices. If you wish to cut down on our fees, we can train you to use these systems with clearly defined weekly or monthly tasks.

The Team

Raymond Lyons

Raymond is the director of the Practice and is a Chartered Tax Adviser as well as a Chartered Certified Accountant. His main focus is helping clients produce the best financial information for making informed business decisions. Raymond has over 30 years experience in tax advice and tax planning and is a Certified Quickbooks Online Adviser.

Denise Cox

Denise joined the practice in 2021 is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant , Certified Tax adviser and a Certified Quickbooks Online Adviser. Denise is the office manager and has a wide range of practice experience to include accounts, tax and payroll.

Tara Masterson

Tara is our office administrator, credit controller and receptionist. Tara provides a key role in the administration of our practice and is our first point of contact for our clients.
